Every day, someone is trying to figure out what to write in a birthday card, what to caption a photo, or how to say something to a person going through a hard time. That’s what I do. I’ve built Swag Captions into a library of over 2,000 pages of captions, quotes, wishes, and card messages, covering just about every occasion people need words for.
Who I Am
I’m Biju Debnath, a content writer and blog publisher. I’ve been writing professionally since 2017.
I started out as a content writer at a Bangalore digital agency, where I spent three years writing and publishing WordPress articles for client sites across a range of industries. I freelanced for about a year after that, and in 2021 I went full-time on my own publishing business.
Swag Captions is the main result of that. I started it as a small Instagram captions project. Today it’s a site with 2,000+ published articles reaching readers across the US, India, and beyond.
I run all of it myself: research, writing, editing, publishing, design, and growth.
What I Actually Do
Running a site at this scale means I’ve done every part of the content job, not just the writing:
Writing and editing. 2,000+ published articles. I write in whatever voice the piece calls for, from playful social copy to sympathy messages that need real care and restraint.
SEO and content strategy. Keyword research, topic clustering, internal linking, and content audits. I’ve rebuilt entire content categories based on performance data, not guesswork.
WordPress publishing. Full publishing workflow, on-page SEO, formatting, and site management. I’ve been in WordPress daily for nine years.
Design. Canva and custom HTML/CSS for article layouts, homepage design, and visual assets.
Analytics and growth. I make content decisions from actual numbers. I’ve analyzed performance across my entire site and restructured production around what works.
